Winters Chamber Meetings
Regular meetings of the WACC Board of Directors are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at Lone Star Diner, 200 Tinkle Street, Winters Texas. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. For more information contact the Chamber office at 325-754-5210 or 325-754-4978.
The Winters Christmas Parade and
Pageant will be coming Dec 14th. Line up is at 2:00 P.M. The parade
will start at 3:00 P.M. This year Sno-Queen
will get a $500 scholarship donated by Lone Star Video and Diner, 1st
will get a $250 scholarship donated by Lloyd Farris and 2nd runner up
will get $100 donated by the Lion's Club. Deadline is November 29,
2013. Forms can be picked up at Lone Star Video and Diner,
Hall and Winters ISD Offices, or open link below and print out form.
2013- 2014 Sno-Royalty
The Z.I. Hale Museum is re-making history. Thanks to Fred Watkins, Charles Brewer, Roger Stephenson and Mike Kozelsky for their hard work in building this new exhibit for the Z. I. Hale Museum.
The Blue Gap Post Office was built in 1878 and was located 16 miles east of Winters.
The Winters Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes our newest members: 7-Eleven and Winters Enterprise.If you would like to join the Winters Area Chamber of Commerce you can download the membership form or pick one up at Lone Star Video and Diner. You may mail completed form back to the address provided on the form, or drop it off at Lone Star Video and Diner. Membership for businesses is $120.00 per year, $50.00 for non-profit groups and $30.00 for individuals and families. The Chamber of Commerce exists to support you but cannot exist without your support.
Thanks to everyone for making the 2013 Five Kilometer run for Trent's Retreat a success. We were able to raise over 1200 dollars for their cause.
